Speed depends on the route to the server and on node load. Our node in Finland gives a short route, so video usually plays smoothly. If it still buffers, try another server and check your own connection speed with the VPN off.

Xray (VLESS + Reality) is the primary protocol and AmneziaWG the backup. Both use modern encryption. If a connection over the primary protocol cannot be established, the app switches to the backup on its own — no action needed from you.

An Android 8.0+ app is available now. iOS will come later.

No. We do not store activity logs and we do not track the sites you visit. Traffic is encrypted with modern protocols.

A VPN is a legal privacy tool in many countries. You are responsible for complying with your local laws.

The Service is operated by Arkona Development LLC, a company registered in the Republic of Armenia. The infrastructure and data processing are located outside Russia. Full details and the governing law are set out in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

Not for the free tier. Premium and moving a subscription between devices need an account — sign-in by e-mail with a password.

The app gives you a personal referral code — one link invites any number of friends. Your friend gets 100 RUB off their first Premium, and you get 100 RUB off your next purchase. The credit is granted once your friend has paid, and applies one per purchase.

Two ways: email support@freesky.app, or open our Telegram bot @FreeSkyAppBot and tap the support button («Поддержка») — your message reaches an operator and the reply arrives in the same chat. The bot speaks Russian; we answer in English too.
