Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the FreeSky VPN app and website (“we”, the “Service”). By installing the app or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 16 (or older where your country’s law requires) and have the capacity to accept these Terms.

The Service is operated by Arkona Development LLC, a company registered in the Republic of Armenia (address: 3 Hakob Hakobyan St., Yerevan 0033, Republic of Armenia); the infrastructure and data processing are located outside the Russian Federation. You can reach us at support@freesky.app. How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

1. The Service

FreeSky VPN is a VPN app that encrypts your traffic and establishes a secure connection to our servers over modern protocols. The available servers, regions and protocols may change. We may add, modify or discontinue individual features of the Service.

The Service is a digital, intangible service: access is provided remotely through the app, and nothing physical is shipped. The service is treated as delivered once the paid plan is active on your account — normally within minutes of the payment being confirmed. Current prices are published on the Pricing page.

2. Free access and ads

On the free tier, VPN access is unlocked by watching an ad: one view grants one session of up to 60 minutes. There are no daily or monthly limits; the free tier allows one device at a time. The technical parameters of a free-tier connection may differ from Premium and may change. When the 60 minutes are up, the session ends automatically; to continue, watch an ad again. Ads are served through third-party ad networks that operate under their own policies.

3. Premium subscription

Premium removes ads, unlocks all regions available at the time of purchase and allows 3 devices at a time. Premium is purchased through our Telegram bot. Plans, prices and the set of regions may change; the prices in effect are published on the Pricing page and shown at the time of purchase.

4. Payments, renewal and refunds

Premium is paid through the Telegram bot — by bank card, via the Faster Payments System (SBP) or in cryptocurrency. The set of available payment methods may change. The price of the chosen plan and the final amount payable (after any discount) are shown before you confirm the payment. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store card data and have no access to it.

Premium is a one-time purchase for the chosen period and does not renew automatically: when the paid period ends, access stops. To continue, subscribe again through the Telegram bot. If you cancel, access remains until the end of the period you already paid for.

By purchasing Premium, you ask us to begin providing the service immediately and agree that, once it has been fully performed, you lose the right to withdraw (“cooling-off period”). Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis to the extent required by applicable law; for refund questions, email support@freesky.app.

Where a refund is issued, access to Premium ends at the moment of the refund — the paid period is not preserved. Referral and affiliate credits arising from the refunded payment are cancelled.

If you dispute a payment with your bank (a chargeback), access to Premium ends, and we may decline to provide the Service to you further or to accept new payments from you. If something is wrong with your payment or with the Service, write to us at support@freesky.app — that is usually faster than a dispute through your bank.

5. Referral programme

Every user has one permanent referral code, and it can invite any number of friends. The person you invite gets 100 RUB off their first Premium subscription, and you get 100 RUB off your next purchase. A single purchase can use as many accrued credits as fit whole: the amount payable never falls below the payment provider’s minimum, and credits that do not fit are kept for your next purchase.

Your credit is granted only after the person you invited has paid for Premium; installing the app or signing up earns nothing. A user can be referred only once.

If the payment made by the person you invited is refunded or disputed, the credit arising from it is cancelled. We may withhold or cancel credits where there are signs of abuse — including attempts to refer yourself or creating accounts to farm credits.

Credit amounts and programme terms may change; the terms in effect are shown in the app.

6. Account

No account is required for the free tier: the app works with an anonymous device identifier. Premium and moving a subscription between devices use sign-in with an e-mail address and password (the address is confirmed with a code sent by e-mail), or sign-in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for activity carried out with it.

7. Devices and the connection limit

Your plan sets how many devices may be connected to the Service at the same time. A device is an installed app (or another supported client) from which a VPN connection is established. Reinstalling the app or replacing a device costs nothing extra: only the number of simultaneous connections matters.

A subscription is for personal use. Sharing access with an open-ended group of people, or exceeding the connection limit by technical means, breaches these Terms. Where we identify such a breach we may cap the number of simultaneous connections, suspend access or, for repeated or plainly abusive behaviour, terminate the Service under §13.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable law. In particular, you agree not to use the Service to:

A VPN is a lawful privacy tool in many countries, but the legal regime varies. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction when using the Service. We may suspend access and disclose the data we hold in response to a valid, lawful request from a competent authority (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Intellectual property

The app, the website, their source code, design, trademarks and other materials belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. No other intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.

10. Privacy

We do not keep logs of your network activity and do not store your browsing history. For what data we process and on what grounds, see the Privacy Policy.

11. Availability and disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a particular speed, or the availability of specific servers, sites or services: connectivity may be affected by the quality of your internet connection, providers’ actions, maintenance and other external factors. We may perform maintenance and temporarily restrict access.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or damage arising from interruptions or unavailability of the Service. You use the Service at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or your rights to the extent that it may not be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate the Service in case of a breach of these Terms, abuse, security threats, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the app; if you have Premium, access remains until the end of the paid period, after which the subscription does not renew.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version is always available on this page; the last-updated date is shown at the top. By continuing to use the Service after changes, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country continue to apply where relevant.

Before going to court, send us a complaint at support@freesky.app: what happened, when, and what you want done about it. We reply on the merits within 30 calendar days. This does not remove your right to go to court, nor does it shorten any period set by applicable law.
